About the event
Let's talk about motherhood - past and present. It's a journey that can be incredibly rewarding, but let's be real - it can also come with a lot of guilt, self judgement and criticism. From the moment your child is born, you're bombarded with messages about what you should and shouldn't be doing. Breastfeeding or formula? Stay-at-home or working mom? Strict discipline or more relaxed? It seems like everyone has an opinion on how to be a good mother, and it can be overwhelming.
And it doesn't stop there. As your child grows, you may feel guilty about the amount of time you spend with them. Whether you work full-time or have other responsibilities, it can be tough to be present all the time. Even when you are there, it's easy to feel like you're not giving them enough attention.
And let's not forget about the guilt of taking time for yourself. It's easy to feel like you should always be putting your child's needs before your own, but that can lead to burnout and resentment. Taking time for self-care or pursuing hobbies can actually make you a better parent, but the guilt can be tough to shake off.
It's important to remember that the guilt that comes with motherhood is a complex issue, and there are many sources of it. But no matter what, it's essential to remind yourself that you're doing your best. Self-care is important for both you and your family.
And here's something else to think about: Sometimes we carry this guilt with us long after our children have left the nest. Whether you're a mother currently taking care of a child or your children are grown and gone, guilt can be a heavy burden to bear.
But it doesn't have to be that way. If you're looking for a better relationship with yourself and want to acknowledge what you got 'right 'instead of what you did wrong or could have done better, I've got some good news. There's a Deep Dive Workshop available for 4-6 women who want to make that change, drop the burden and live life more playfully. It's a game changer, so hold onto your hats!
This Deep Dive into Mother's Guild is available for only 4-5 people. Book your ticket now!
